Day 1
Afternoon

in to
your Moonstone Hotel in
Cambria or San Simeon (1-800-966-6490)

Spend your
afternoon browsing through the village of Cambria. Stop for
wine tasting at Fermentations (1-800-446-7505).
Day 1 Evening
•
Enjoy dinner at the
Restaurant at Cambria Pines Lodge,
featuring a variety of local wines (Reservations recommended 805-927-4200)

Day 2 Morning
•
Hearst Castle Tour #4 includes not only the
beauty of the botanical gardens, but also provides a glimpse into some of
the less familiar aspects of Hearst Castle, including the Hearst wine
cellar.
Tour duration is 1 hour and 45 minutes which
includes the bus ride to and from the castle. Tour Four is available April
through October. Tour reservations are highly recommended (800-444-4445)
Day
2 Afternoon
•
Enjoy a light lunch and wine tasting at Indigo Moon in
Cambria (805-927-2911).
•
Travel 6 miles south of
Cambria on Highway One to the
charming village of Harmony. Visit the glass blower and pottery
studio. Harmony Cellars is located in this delightful area. The tasting
room is open from 10am to 5pm. (800-432-9239)

2 Evening
•
Continue south from Harmony on Highway One for
approximately 9 miles to
Cayucos. Stroll through this quaint
coastal town, and enjoy a delicious dinner and fine local wines at Hoppe’s
Restaurant (805-995-1006)
Day
3 Morning and Afternoon
•
Drive 5 miles south on
Highway One and turn left (east) onto Highway 46. Follow Highway 46 through
spectacular scenery (stop at the overlooks for magnificent views of the
coast) to the Paso Robles wine region. Here you will find over 200
vineyards and 75 tasting rooms (wine tasting maps are available at each of
our hotels or visit
www.pasowine.com). In the midst of these
vineyards is the Wine Yard. Your opportunity to take a vineyard tour of the
wine grapes growing at Steinbeck Vineyards, followed by a seminar where you
will learn stages of vineyard development, planting, tending the vines and
harvesting the fruit (Call ahead 805-238-1854). After your day in the Paso
Robles wine country, return to Cambria.

Enjoy an evening strolling along romantic Moonstone
Beach, and then enjoy dinner at the Sea Chest (805-927-4514).
