Covered BridgesCurrin Bridge is just one of the Covered Bridges in Oregon

Covered bridges can be found all around Cottage Grove and throughout Lane County, which is home to 20 covered bridges, 17 of which are open to traffic.

Seven covered bridges can be seen during a self-guided covered bridge tour around Cottage Grove. The tour starts in downtown Cottage Grove and heads along Row River Road toward Dorena Lake and the Dorena Bridge. After the Dorena Bridge, head back to Cottage Grove along Shoreview Drive, turn left on Garoutte Road, and at the intersection of Garoutte Road and Mosby Creek Road, you will find Stewart Bridge. Turn right on Mosby Creek Road and right again on Layng Road, where you will see Mosby

Creek Bridge. Continuing North on Mosby Creek Road, you will come to Currin Bridge. Turn left on Row River Road and return to Main Street in Cottage Grove via Highway 99 South. Turn right on Main Street and head west toward River Road, where you will see Centennial Bridge. Cross the river and turn left on River Road to see Swinging Bridge. Finally, just south of Harrison Street, you will see Railroad Bridge.

Dorena Bridge – This bridge spans 105 feet, but is closed to traffic. It was built in 1949 and restored in 1996.
